Pack Pals FAQ

Pack Pals are friends and supporters of Houston Pekingese Rescue that sign up to send a set amount each month in support of a selected dog or dogs, or toward the rescue's general operating funds. 

How much do I have to send each month?

You decide the amount that you want to send.  You choose an amount that you are comfortable with.  

Do I have to send the entire amount that is posted as the amount needed to support a dog each month?

No.  Any one dog can have more than one Pack Pal until that individual dog's support level has been met. 

What if I simply can't send anything when the donation is expected?

We just ask that you let us know.  We will never harass you for your donation.  Keep in mind that you can stop making donations as well as change the amount at any time - just let us know. 

Do I get a coupon book or notices in the mail?

No.  We won't send you a coupon book or notices in the mail.  However, if you have signed up to send a donation each month, we can send you an email reminder, with a customized PayPal link, if you like, to make it easier for you. 

How do I send my donation? 

PayPal
You may send funds through PayPal.  You don't have to have a PayPal account to send funds with a credit or debit card.  If you need assistance using PayPal the first time, please let us know.  It's convenient and painless.  We can talk you through the steps you need to take without compromising your account security.
