This is the letter we received from Tootsie's family, a lovely tribute
to the love old dogs have for new families and their love for an old dog.

TOOTSIE

We adopted Tootsie from the pound about 5 years ago. On June 29, 2007 we had to put her to sleep. I did not know what to do with all her stuff because we had decided we are not going to get another dog at this time. I found your website and thought you might be able to use some of this stuff. We got Tootsie when she was 8 years old and I knew that she would not have as many more years ahead of her as she had already seen.  I felt that if I could make her last years a happy time then I would had done something special.

I wish more people could see how wonderful old dogs are and give them the love they deserve. Please post this in remembrance of Tootsie, she was a loving friend, companion and pet and will be greatly missed by her family.
