Eva's Story

EVA

My name is Eva. I'm at Rainbow Bridge now.  I was around two years old.

It is with great sadness that we report that Eva died June 22, 2007 of Distemper.  Apparently she came into rescue with this horrible infection incubating.  Due to several health issues she and her sister, Zsa Zsa had been staying with our veterinarian, Dr. Scott.  Dr. Scott did all she could for Eva, but apparently, it was to late, we just didn't know.  It is such a shame, all but a crime, for a dog to suffer much less die of a preventable illness like this.  If Eva's previous owners had thought enough of these dogs to properly immunize them, Eva would in all likelihood still be with us.

In our attempt to save Eva, her medical medical expenses came to over $800.00.
